Vodka Marinated Salmon with Grated Ginger
Ingredients
For 4 Fillets
4 tablespoons vodka
8 tablespoons soy sauce
3 tablespoon grated ginger
3 tablespoon grated daikon
1 table spoon grated onion
4 tablespoons balsamic vinegar
2 tablespoons water
Directions:
Marinate
4 tablespoons vodka
4 tablespoons soy sauce
1 tablespoon grated ginger
1 tablespoon grated onion or daikon
Place salmon on a platter, and pour marinade over the salmon. Allow to sit for 30 minutes to 1 hour.
Heat large ovenproof frying pan that can accommodate the fish.
Pour 2-3 tablespoons sunflower or olive oil in to the pan.
Place fish (flesh side down) into the pan and allow to cook 1 ½ - 2 minutes.
Turn and finish cooking on the other side for another 1 ½ - 2 minutes.
Serve with seasonal steamed vegetables tossed with ginger soy sauce.
Ginger Soy Sauce:
4 tablespoons soy sauce
4 tablespoons balsamic vinegar
2 tablespoons water
2 tablespoons grated ginger
2 tablespoons grated daikon (optional)
Mix all together
